Automation: percentage of attendance at videoconferences
Today we’re introducing two new features we’ve added to the automation tool:
- Tracking based on video conference attendance percentage
When the pass criterion is set to a specific percentage of time that the student group spends attending video conferences, you can track attendance from the automation section of the platform.
Within the “Course Progress” condition, we have a new option: “Video Conference Attendance Percentage”:

Here we can specify the percentage that will be taken into account when sending a message to a learner who meets the condition:

Additionally, in this section, you will see that we have reworded two of the conditions to make them easier to understand. The functionality itself has not changed; we have simply improved the clarity of the text. We encourage you to use them to track learners’ engagement with the course and their learning pace:

- Selecting the sender for messages sent to users
When an administrator creates an automation, they can now choose the sender of the message that will be sent automatically when students meet the specified condition.
This is especially useful in cases where it is the teacher who must justify the monitoring of their learners.
To do this, simply select the desired admin user from the new sender dropdown menu. If nothing is selected, the sender will default to the user who created the automation, just as it does now.
