Limitation on the number of devices that can access the campus
For many of you, it is important that the platform only allows one session per learner at a time to prevent, as far as possible, multiple learners from accessing the campus with the same account.
In addition, we have added an optional limitation that, for those of you who need it due to the characteristics of your courses, will help you control access by learners from different devices or browsers.
In the Settings => Platform customization menu, there is a new section where you can limit the number of devices to a maximum of 4:
This limitation applies whether you access the site from a web browser or from the app.
Once activated, the learner's file will show a new section where you can see the devices they have linked, and you also have the option to unlink any of them if necessary:
If the learner attempts to access from a new device or browser that exceeds the permitted number, an informational message will appear:
Learners will have information on their campus about the devices they have linked and will be able to manage changes so that, when they try to unlink one of the devices, they will be able to send this request to the administrator:
The platform administrator will then receive an automatic message with the request to take the necessary action: contact the learner or, if they wish to unlink one of the devices, access the learner's file directly from the link to their name:
Activating this parameter is entirely optional, so by default, no limitations are applied. To make it effective, you must activate it and choose the number of devices and/or browsers that learners will be able to access.
Also, keep in mind that this limitation is applied generally at the platform level and cannot be applied to specific courses or learners.
