Automatic rating upon completion of evaluable activities

We inform you of a new option to configure the automatic rating of the course in the group edition.

As you know, in the Group Configuration we can set the course and subject rating to be automatic or manual.

Until now, if the rating system was automatic, the learners in a group could only see the final grade of the course or subject reflected once they had completed all the mandatory activities, regardless of whether they were assessable or not.

Sometimes, this rating system could generate doubts for you or your learners.

To give you the option to choose, we now have a third condition to apply the automatic rating: when completing the assessable activities of the course without the need to have completed the course 100%.

Thus, the course grading tool will offer 3 different options:

• Automatic rating at the moment when the learners complete 100% of all the mandatory activities of the course/subject.
• Automatic rating when the learners complete 100% of the assessable activities of the course/subject.
• Manual rating, in which the teacher must rate the course and subjects manually from the Grades screen.

In the groups in which you currently have the automatic rating configured, the one we had until now will be maintained: 100% completion of the course activities.

You can edit and modify the configuration of those groups in which you wish to apply this new automatic rating option when completing only 100% of the assessable activities.
