Customizable templates in messaging

As we announced last month when we added the possibility of adding a signature to the messages sent from the platform, we have expanded the messaging functionalities to make this tool more complete.

From now on, when writing a message to a learner or group of learners, we will be able to create one or more templates per user that we can use when composing a message.

To do this, once in messaging, we just have to follow these simple steps:

1.- We click on "Template management":

2.- We give a name that identifies the new template that we are going to create:

3.- Write the text by dragging the dynamic fields available on the right to compose the final message and save the template.

You can see an example in the preview tab:

At the bottom of this screen we have available different actions to manage the template that allow us to: use it directly in a message, copy it to create another template based on it, delete it, create a new one, etc.:

4.- Finally, when writing a new message, we can select the template we want in the new drop-down list that will be enabled with all the templates we have created:

You can benefit from this new feature by sending a message either from the "Messaging" section, in bulk from the learners menu, or by sending a message from a specific learner's enrollment.

If your user has administrator and teacher roles, you will have available the templates created by accessing from both roles.

Note that when the message is sent to a group of learners, it will be sent individually by default, i.e. the learner who receives the message will not be able to see who the other recipients are, as they will be in blind copy.

We hope this improvement will help you to speed up the tracking and communication with your learners in a more efficient and personalized way.
