Possibility to change a learner to another group

There are times when, after having enrolled a learner in a certain group, we have to change him/her to another group within the same course, either due to an error or a change of needs after enrollment.


We have simplified the process so that it is no longer necessary to delete the learner's enrollment to re-enroll him/her in the appropriate group, with all that this entailed: loss of progress and carrying out activities, loss of connections to the course, etc.


Now, when you access the learner's enrollment, you will have an option available so that you can carry out the change out from the current group to another of the active groups within the same course.

All you have to do is click on "Change group" and select from the drop-down menu the target group where you want to change the learner's enrollment:


Once in the new group, the learner's enrollment will be updated according to the new group setting: minimum grade, passing criteria, etc.

The learner will keep the progress percentage, the activities completed and their connections to the campus, as well as the exercises to be corrected.

However, it should be noted that the information associated with the group (if any) cannot be transferred to the target group. This includes messaging, debate forums, group debates, final survey, certificate or participation in videoconferences.

Finally, if the associated course contains any group debates already completed, the learner's progress percentage will be adjusted proportionally to reflect the rest of the activities completed.
