Changes in the generation of certificates

As you know, the platform allows you to create certificates for students belonging to a group. This certificate could be sent or downloaded by the students themselves as soon as they pass the course.
For all those of you who make use of this functionality, we inform you that we have made changes so that there is a single certificate whose date of issue corresponds to the date on which the course has been passed. 
To this end,  the certificate will be automatically generated internally when the student meets the passing criteria that have been configured in the group and will be associated with his or her enrollment. Thus, when a student downloads the certificate,  the date of issue will always correspond to the date on which he/she has passed the course.
From now on, in each student's enrollment, the “Download certificate” option will indicate: “ Generate and download certificate” if such certificate has not yet been generated:

These are the four situations in which the certificate will be generated with the data that have been configured:
  • Upon meeting the established passing requirements.
  • If an administrator sends it from the “Students” menu through mass actions.
  • If an administrator downloads it from the student's enrollment.
  • When downloading the certificates from “Reports”.
If for any reason changes are made to the certificate at a later date, either in its design or to modify the student's data, we will have a new option to delete  the certificate from the student's enrollment so that it can be generated again and these changes are reflected.
