Customized user creation and new permissions

We are pleased to announce several new features that we have been working on for some time in relation to providing more flexibility to the actions that users can perform to manage the platform and their access to specific functionalities.

1) In addition to the existing administrator and teacher, we now have available a new type of user that, without having full access as an administrator would have, can be adapted to the specific needs you have at a given time, as it can be configured in a personalized way.

From the “Users” menu, we will see a new option to create a user with a customized role to which we will be able to give permissions to perform the actions we choose.
Depending on the access we need to give to this user, we will select which of the following actions he/she can perform:
Create and edit courses, as well as access the configuration options associated with them: content download management, weighting of evaluable activities, creation of training tests and modification of the rating scale.
Create and edit groups and access all their configuration options: set content access dates, certificate creation or final survey, learners tracking, etc. 
Manage  enrollment of learners in order to register and enroll learners in their respective courses.
Access to download reports that provide detailed information about the students.
Likewise, in a second step you must select the courses in which these permissions are enabled: either in all the courses on the platform (and those that are created later), in some specific ones, or only in the courses that are created by the user:

To ensure that the platform administrator does not lose the overview of the users who have access to each of the courses and the actions they can perform in them, this information will be available in the edition of each course:

In addition to a direct link in the user's name to access his or her file and edit his or her permissions if necessary:

2) On the other hand, we extend the functionalities to manage the courses of users with teacher role.

From now on, when we register a new teacher on the platform, as well as for the existing ones, we will be able to give them access to download reports of their group/s of students. 

This permission can be selected within the additional permissions of the teacher and adds to the current possibility of editing content and setting access dates for activities in those groups where they are assigned as a teacher.
